Professionally machined ADDY E50 4-bearing racing engine case, bored out to 52 mm, featuring GME (case-diaphragm intake) for your Puch moped.
This racing engine case is the “der.prüfstand” edition, produced exclusively for mofakult. The massive 39.5 x 26 mm intake, combined with the dedicated diaphragm system, delivers plenty of power. No modifications to the Puch Maxi frame are required to install the engine.
The milled housing allows for the installation of large 47 mm cylinder kits such as those from Gilardoni, Italkit, Airsal, or Parmakit. The slightly enlarged cylinder mounting surface ensures that tuned cylinders still have sufficient sealing surface.
The ADDY racing housing was specifically designed and manufactured for the tuning sector; therefore, some components—such as the mounting surface for a kickstarter—have been omitted.
The housing features the following special characteristics:
- enlarged sealing surface in the area of the cylinder base
- crankcase bolts slightly offset outward, leaving more space for larger overflow channels
- Larger GME intake
- Bore diameter increased to 52 mm to accommodate 47 mm cylinder kits
- Alignment pins for secure positioning when assembling the cylinder head halves
- Additional threads for more flexible ignition installation
- Extra-large cooling fins in the lower section for better heat dissipation and thus reduced wear on the crankshaft bearings
- Stand mount, 3 M6 threads at the original spacing
- Approved for all SAM Moped Racing and Moped Cross categories
- Cylinder stud hole pattern: 44 x 44 mm
Installation tips:
- Using the included washers, different gear wheels with varying positions—such as those in 3-bearing or MBR transmissions—can be properly spaced. Before assembly, be sure to check that the gear wheel is properly centered.
- Use the following screw lengths: 7 pcs. M6 x 35 mm / 6 pcs. M6 x 50 mm
Note: If you plan to use a main stand, we recommend using a sturdy main stand, as there is a stand stop only on the left side.
