On the one hand, this can spoil the appearance of your lovely Sachs pearl. On the other hand, if the exhaust system is so badly corroded that there are already holes in it, your bike will not only be unpleasantly loud, but optimum exhaust gas routing is no longer guaranteed. At the latest then it is time to fit a new exhaust silencer to your Sachs 503 moped. Muffler installation on your Sachs 503 moped: an easy exercise for passionate mechanics
Fitting a new exhaust to your moped should not be a problem, even if you are a novice mechanic. In addition to the nuts and bolts on the outlet, you only need to loosen the existing exhaust clamps. You can then remove the silencer or the complete exhaust system. Then simply fit the new silencer in reverse order. As almost every muffler you can buy from us is usually designed specifically for your Sachs 503 moped, the fixing points usually remain the same, so you don't have to change anything on site.
