M5 rubber washer to absorb any vibrations from sheet steel side panels. These types of side guards were often installed on older Puch, Sachs, Zündapp mopeds, mopeds and small motorcycles.
Another advantage of such plastic disks is that the side guards do not rest directly on steel. This prevents corrosion and scratches.
